Abrasive Cutting

High speed cutting of abrasive materials using high chrome content rotary tooling enables the converter to lower manufacturing costs and increase productivity. Midway uses a unique self-sharpening blade angle and bearerless tool design.

The self-sharpening blades eliminate reconditioning costs. The bearerless feature allows the tool to continue to cut as the blades begin to wear.

Midway tooling converts sandpaper from as low as 120 grit silicon oxide to the most sophisticated glass polishing pads for the eyeglass industry. Used for control depth cutting to a liner for pressure sensitive applications, Midway tooling also cuts metal to metal for individual part manufacturing.
